There is a One Week Check-Out Period

  • There is a great demand for ITC equipment, the maximum loan period is seven days but may vary depending on the availability of equipment.
  • Back-to-back reservations are not permitted.
  • If you do not return it on time, you will be fined $5.00 per day. Please help us give you our best service by sharing equipment fairly.

Authorizing Student Check-outs

Only full-time faculty are granted the authority by Property Control to authorize student removal of inventoried items from campus.

In order to check out equipment, students require two signed items from the authorizing faculty member. The required forms are:

  1. A signed letter on department letterhead, authorizing the student(s) by name to check out items from the ITC. If you have muliple students, you may create a signed letter and attach it to a copy of a class roster. These general authorizations are needed only once per person or class each semester, and remain valid for that semester only.
  2. A signed ITC Equipment Check-out Form for each instance the student(s) check out equipment. Please print the two-sided checkout form and complete and sign the gray authorization area for each student.
