About PT3 at Georgia State University:

A major challenge for schools is the preparation of students to face the skill demands of a technology-saturated workplace. The leaders in this effort will be teachers - those currently teaching, but especially those teaching in the near future.

This new teacher workforce will be responsible for imparting to students problem-solving strategies for meeting the challenge of technology demands now and in the future. As they saturate 21st century schools, these dynamic new teachers will exhibit personal proficiency in current technology tools, bridging schools' uses of technology tomorrow.
PT3's grant-making efforts are directed to the institutions of higher learning that prepare and launch these new teachers into their professions. These grants are serving as the conduit for institutions of higher learning in the preparation of technology-proficient educators who will lead students into the 21st century.
