Our service philosophy is to to provide the most supportive environment possible for students, faculty and staff who invest their time and energy in integrating technology into the classroom. Our staff, who have extensive pedagogical training are ideally suited to offer advice and direction to those who wish to discover and develop best practices in the educational uses of technology.
Consulting Services
The ITC Center Staff provides consultation services for GSU students, faculty and staff for instructional projects. We try to understand your instructional objectives and identify technologies that will best meet your needs within the constraints of available resources.
Student/Faculty/Staff Development & Training
We offer a variety of events and workshops to assist students, faculty and staff to integrate computer technologies and teaching. Workshop topics are continually updated to provide faculty members with the most current strategies in course development and teaching. Customized Workshops

Media Production
The ITC maintains a full compliment of broadcast quality video and audio production and reproduction technology for use on projects by faculty, students and staff. Contact Tim Merritt at tmerritt@gsu.edu for more information.
Poster Printing
The Instructional Technology Department in the College of Education has purchased a Hewlett Packard DesignJet 800ps large format inkjet plotter. Poster printing is limited to academic departments and centers within the College of Education other colleges should contact IS&T at 404-413-4412 and arrange for printing.
This photo-realistic printer has a 42-inch wide capacity and can print onto rolls up to 100 feet in length. The HP DesignJet 800PS plotter produces great-looking posters, with brilliant colors produced at a resolution of 1200 dots per inch at a low cost for COE faculty and staff who are printing GSU-related materials. Laptop Carts
Instructors teaching in the ITC Smart Classrooms may wish to periodically reserve laptops for an instructional unit. The ITC maintains two laptop carts. The carts contain 32 Dell Latitude 610's These Windows XP notebooks connect to Internet via the GSU wireless network: CatChat. The laptops are equipped with a CD reader/ writer that will also read DVD's. Visit Laptop Carts for more information.
